SPAIN IS READY TO RENEW ANNUAL VISAS
Spain has expanded the list of applicants who can apply for visa extensions. From June 28, holders of visas valid for at least one year (code ESM) can do this by appointment. Submission of documents at the Spanish Visa Application Center is possible only in person or for family members (with confirmation of relationship). The conditions for renewing visas are the same as for visas issued for 2, 3 and 5 years.
However, visa operator BLS International warns applicants against contacting companies offering document submission services without personal presence at the BLS Spanish Visa Application Center .
Russians should be careful “with other unauthorized websites (for example, www.blsspain-visa.ru) operating under the same name and style as BLS or the Spain Visa Application Center, as well as with other agencies and offices that offer services for obtaining a visa to Spain with false documentation.”
According to BLS International, applications from such agencies or intermediaries will not be accepted at any of the BLS Spain Visa Application Centers.
As previously reported, from June 24 you can again apply for a Spanish visa in Rostov-on-Don and Nizhny Novgorod.
