Procedure for receiving and issuing documents at the Croatia Visa Application Center

Submission of documents:

  • personally;
  • the closest relative on the basis of a document confirming relationship (marriage certificate or birth certificate). Close relatives include: official spouses, parents, children (including adopted ones), grandparents, grandchildren;
  • accredited agency. You may have to buy tickets or hotels from them (or even the “full package”). We don’t think it’s worth mentioning that you’ll need to pay extra.

Documents receiving:

  • personally;
  • the closest relative on the basis of documents confirming relationship (marriage certificate or birth certificate). Close relatives include: official spouses, parents, children (including adopted ones), grandparents, grandchildren;
  • paid delivery. The Visa Center provides a passport delivery service to any address convenient for you after consideration of your visa request. The visa center cooperates with two courier services - Fox-Express and DHL. The tariff and delivery time for passports depend on the recipient’s region of residence. Thus, from the moment of submitting the documents, the period for receiving a passport in hand will consist of the standard period for processing a visa application + additional time for delivery of the passport. Be sure to take into account the additional delivery time when planning your visa application (if you choose this option to receive your passport in hand). In practice: when ordering delivery in Moscow, the passport is delivered the next business day.

Visa to Croatia

Contact us

Croatia is part of the European Union, but is not a member of the Schengen area. This situation is somewhat confusing for those who intend to obtain a visa to Croatia, although in fact, there is nothing complicated in this situation. Many visa centers and the efficient work of their employees will allow you to obtain a visa to Croatia relatively quickly - on average in 5 working days. In addition, the visa regime provides for a number of concessions for holders of multiple-entry Schengen and visas, as well as national visas of some countries. However, residents of the CIS countries need to obtain a visa to visit this country, but they cannot enter other European countries with a Croatian visa.

Types of visas to Croatia:

To visit Croatia, there are only 2 types of visa:

  • A category C visa will allow you to stay in the country for up to 90 days if the purpose of travel is transit, tourism, business trip, or a trip to relatives.
  • A long-stay visa, category D , will allow you to stay longer - over 90 days. Typically, this type of visa is issued if the applicant intends to study or work in Croatia. Please note that upon receipt of this type of visa, the applicant is required to register with the National Bureau of Immigration or the Police Department within 90 days of arrival in the country.

List of documents for obtaining a visa to Croatia:
  • Application for a visa. The document must be filled out in printed Latin letters; the applicant’s information must be exactly copied from the passport (pay attention to the transliteration of the first and last name).
  • A valid international passport of the applicant, which will be valid for another 3 months after the end of the visit to Croatia. The passport must still have at least 2 free pages for pasting visas. The set of documents also includes a copy of the first page of the passport.
  • A copy of the first page of the internal passport.
  • A standard color photograph taken no earlier than 6 months before applying for a Croatian visa.
  • Health insurance policy covering the entire period of stay in the country.
  • As documents confirming the financial solvency of the applicant, you can provide a certificate from the place of work (indicating the salary) or an extract on the flow of funds in the account.
  • Copies of tickets or confirmation of air ticket booking. Those traveling by car are required to provide copies of the registration certificate and driver's license.

It is important to know!

The above list is not final and is supplemented by documents depending on the type of visa, purpose of travel and the situation of the applicant. So, if the purpose of the proposed visit is a business meeting, then the set of documents must be supplemented with the original letter of guarantee from the Croatian legal entity.

First of all, Croatia attracts those who want to relax on the seashore, but even for such a visit, residents of the CIS countries will need to apply for a visa to Croatia. But we are sure that once you find yourself here, you will probably want to do everything possible to visit here as often as possible.

We will be happy to take full responsibility for obtaining any type of visa to Croatia!
