How to obtain a pension certificate through State Services

Why might such a certificate be needed?

When registering social security, the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation enters its decision and calculation of monthly security into the pensioner’s certificate. But over time, this amount changes for several reasons:

Upon adoption of the law on indexation of pension payments.
When recalculating, for example, if additional length of service has been confirmed or the funded part of the pension has increased.
When establishing temporary or permanent additional payments of a regional or federal nature.

When indexing the amount, the data in the certificate or certificate does not change.

A certificate of pension amount can be ordered in several ways:

The document can be ordered by calling the Pension Fund customer service. For such a request, please indicate your passport and SNILS numbers. When collecting information, you must provide the originals of these documents.

What benefits are available to military pensioners? List

The list of benefits for people who retired after military service is quite wide and covers almost all areas of life. For example, the law provides:

with 20 or more years of service, a serviceman has the right to receive housing that complies with the norms of the Housing Code of the Russian Federation, if it was not received during the year of service, or to receive compensation for it,
upon dismissal from service due to health reasons or staff reduction, the subject retains benefits for receiving housing,
if you have the title of labor veteran, the opportunity to receive preferences in housing and communal services,
the right to medical care free of charge and much more.

The list of benefits is quite large, which allows this category of citizens to significantly save their monthly and annual expenses.

Tax benefits

Tax benefits for military pensioners are provided for by the Tax Code of the Russian Federation and include:

exemption from tax payments on one of the real estate objects in their possession,
tax breaks on gifts if their value is less than 10 thousand rubles.
exemption from paying state fees for filing claims.

Relief on tax payments is not provided automatically; to do this, you will need to contact the authorized body and submit an application of the appropriate form.

Subsidies for housing and communal services

For the category of military pensioners, benefits are provided regarding the payment of utility services. And they provide a discount of 50% on monthly payments for existing residential premises, that is, they pay half of the charges.

Travel on public transport is free of charge, but you must present your pension card to the conductor or driver.

In addition to city transport, military pensioners have the right to travel free of charge to a health care facility. If the trip is made to an institution affiliated with the Ministry of Defense, the trip will be paid from the state budget, and if not, only half the cost of travel will be paid.

Increased pension

There are categories of military pensioners who are entitled to an increased pension payment:

employees who are injured while on duty are paid from 175% to 300%,

Compensation for spa treatment

Note. In cases where a person cannot personally take the information sheet, a legal representative is allowed to do this for him. The power of attorney is certified by a notary or a social service. For minors, representatives are parents or guardians.

How to get and restore

Previously, a pensioner’s certificate was obtained from the Pension Fund on a territorial basis. In case of loss, for whatever reason, and the need to restore a document, a citizen should:

Contact the territorial office of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation located at the place of permanent registration.
Fill out the application form provided by the employee.

Information for future retirees

The legislation does not regulate the form of the pension document. It is established by the administrative regulations of the Pension Fund. The following information is provided on the standard form:

about the date, number and place of issue;
about the authority that issued the document;
personal data of the benefit recipient;
type of payment received - insurance, social, labor pension;
the amount of the monthly payment as of the date of the certificate;
signature of officials responsible for the accuracy of the data and seal of the government agency.

In addition to basic information, facts of increase, indexation and the amount of payments received for a certain period may be included.

The certificate indicates only the amount of the pension, without providing calculations. To receive a checklist to verify the correctness of the accruals, you must submit a different type of request.

Why is the previous document no longer issued?

The official reason for canceling the issuance of a standard certificate in the form of a book was that it was unnecessary and ineffective in the process of personal identification.
Also, this document did not play a special role in the process of obtaining various types of social benefits.

Step-by-step instruction

Obtaining a certificate will take several steps:

On the State Services website you need to log in to your account. If you do not have a personal account, registration will be required. It requires passport data and SNILS. Then the account must be confirmed and an electronic signature must be obtained.
After entering the required query into the search area, select the desired line in the results and follow the link.
The State Services website allows you to apply for a certificate online. The document is prepared within two working days. It is collected from the dispatcher at the territorial UPFR office. Upon receipt, present your passport.

Some subtleties associated with obtaining a certificate

The administrative regulations of the Pension Fund of Russia standardize the procedure for its registration. Some subtleties should be taken into account:

The representative may be refused to receive a certificate due to lack of consent to the processing of personal data. Without this, the issuance of a certificate is possible only by law enforcement agencies upon an official request.
The reason for the appeal is not stated.
The number of requests is not limited by law.
There is no state fee for the certificate.
Before issuance, the slip is registered in the journal of outgoing correspondence, which allows the information to be used as a document with legal force.
The pension certificate does not have a validity period, but due to frequent changes in the amount of payments, it requires updating.

Payments

When leaving for a well-deserved rest, a serviceman has the right to count on receiving certain payments, which include:

one-time allowance,
bonus (if the employee conscientiously fulfilled the assigned tasks),
annual financial assistance, if not received previously, and then monthly if the employee has a disability,
one-time payment (if a serviceman was injured during his service).

One-time benefit upon dismissal upon reaching the age limit

The amount of the benefit is regulated by Federal Law No. 306 of 2011 and its size will be influenced by the number of years that the employee has served:

if the length of service is 20 years, the pensioner will be paid 2 salaries,
if the years of service exceed 20, upon retirement the employee can count on 7 salaries.

For persons who have been awarded state awards during their years of service, another salary is added.

Indexation from January 1, 2021

In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1598, the size of the MVD and OVZ increases by 4% starting from 01/01/2018. Due to the fact that military pension accruals directly depend on the amount of salary due by position and rank, when they are indexed automatically pension payments are increasing.

But due to the fact that the reduction factor did not increase (72.23%), the increase occurred by approximately 3%.

Supplement to pension for length of service

The amount of pension payments will depend on the number of years of service. The basic right to receive a pension arises after a soldier has served 20 years. The payment amount is:

for those retired military personnel who have retired, 50% of the average monthly income plus 3% for each year over the required length of service,
if the pensioner remains working, he is entitled to 50% of the average income, plus 1% for an irregular year worked,
As for retired military personnel who have been assigned a disability of group 1 or 2, the amount of payments will be 85% of the average monthly allowance.

Attention : when calculating pension payments, rank, awards, years of service in hot spots and much more are also taken into account.

Territorial monthly cash payment (MAP) to certain categories of citizens

The following may apply for the EDV, which is the main payment for military pensioners:

persons who have been assigned a disability group ,
subjects who have been exposed to radiation ,
citizens with state awards ,
persons who have been awarded the title of veteran .

The amount of EDV will depend on the category and is set for each individual.

Financial assistance to disabled people due to war trauma

Citizens who were injured during their service have the right to receive monthly financial assistance, the amount of which is 1000 rubles. The amount is added to the rest of the due payments.

It can be applied for by persons who have become disabled as a result of exposure to radiation during the performance of their official duties or as a result of violent actions by law enforcement services.

Refusal to provide service

The legislation does not provide grounds for refusing to accept documents or provide a certificate.
