Upon arrival in the Arab kingdom, before passing through passport control, a migration card is filled out. To speed up the process of passing through the border control point, such cards are often issued on the plane, where flight attendants can help fill them out. They are filled with black paste in block Latin letters.
The card must be issued for each person entering, including each child with their own passport. There is no need to download a blank card from the Internet, print it out and fill it out in advance, but you can take a sample of the form with you.
Upon entry into the country, a single-entry visa is issued for thirty days.
Such a permit will cost 20 JOD (about $28). A significant disadvantage of this method of obtaining a visa is the long queues that will have to wait after the flight.
Through the embassy
Registration of a visa at the Jordanian Embassy takes no more than three working days, delays. A not too voluminous package of documents will be required, and refusals are extremely rare. Only through the embassy is it possible to obtain a double or multiple entry visa.
It is mandatory to obtain a Jordanian visa from the embassy if the trip involves crossing the border between Jordan and Israel at the Allenby / King Hussein border crossing opposite Jericho, on the main route from Jerusalem to Amman.

If the traveler is visiting the country for less than two nights, he will be charged a visa fee of 40 JOD and an additional ASEZA fee of 20 JOD. If a tourist stays in Jordan for less than two nights, but the trip includes a visit to Petra, he is exempt from the ASEZA fee. In both cases there is a departure fee of 10 JOD.
Important! There are certain nuances when crossing the border through the Arava checkpoint.
This crossing is intended for those Palestinians who have traveled from Jordan to the West Bank and vice versa. Entry through this checkpoint is only permitted as part of a tourist group.
