Consular fee:

Who is exempt from paying visa fees?

Consular fees and visa center fees are not charged for the following categories of applicants (for them a visa is issued free of charge ):

from participants in official exchange programs organized between sister cities.

Application processing time at the Lithuania Visa Application Center in Moscow

The standard processing time for documents is 5-8 working days. It is recommended to apply no later than 2 weeks before travel.
The processing time for documents under the urgent option is 2-3 business days.
During high season, the processing time for documents may be extended.

Procedure for receiving and issuing documents

Biometrics:

From September 14, 2015, the issuance of Schengen visas includes the mandatory collection of biometric data [New procedure for issuing Schengen visas].
