Only Schengen visa applications can be submitted at regional visa centers. Applications for a long-term visa, long-term and permanent residence permit should be submitted directly to the diplomatic missions of the Czech Republic in the Russian Federation (Consular Section of the Czech Embassy in Moscow, the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in St. Petersburg and the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Yekaterinburg).
Please note that from September 14, 2015, all applicants must be present in person at the Visa Application Centers when applying for a visa to the Czech Republic to have their biometric data collected. The exception is children under 12 years of age. After 12 years of age, children also need to be present in person when applying.
Removing biometric information
To apply for a visa, you must go through the biometric data collection procedure. Please note that this procedure is not carried out for every application, but only once every five years - all this time, information about you will be stored in a single database for applying for Schengen visas.
As a rule, this procedure takes a short amount of time and is performed directly at the visa center where you will submit your application.
There are several important rules, following which you can be sure that you will receive a visa. It is necessary to submit only correctly executed documents, which are created in accordance with the examples on the consulate website.
It is also necessary to submit only truthful information supported by documents. Immediately decide on your place of residence and book it - changing the hotel after submitting your application is not recommended. Be calm, confident, check the documentation and don’t be late if you signed up in advance.

How long does it take to get a visa?
On average, the processing time for a visa application to the Czech Republic is about 5 days from the date of registration of documents at the Embassy. Express review of documents is also possible, which usually takes 3 business days. Please note that applicants who contact an intermediary - a visa center - will be able to obtain a visa later due to the need to use courier services.
Important! The Czech Embassy may delay documents for up to 30 days if there is a need to provide additional documents or in case of other unforeseen situations.
Please also note that all applications from applicants are considered on an individual basis, so depending on the type of visa, as well as the specific situation, the processing time for documents may vary. It is recommended to process the entry document to the Czech Republic in advance and plan your trip after receiving the visa.
