Features of obtaining a passport

Passport series and number: what they mean and what they are needed for

Passport series in Kazakhstan

In the passport of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan (with a blue cover), the patronymic name is not indicated. However, the employee is accustomed to using his middle name, which is evident in the statement he wrote (this, of course, is a lyrical digression, since desire and habits do not affect the law).

What are the passport series and number for and where are they located?

Important: regardless of the number of passport changes, in each case the series and number will be different.

Moreover, if the document is received in the same region, then the first two digits will be the same. The second digits can only match if the change occurs twice in one year.

For example, changing your document at age 20 and after marriage in 2021. The remaining numbers will be different in any case.

The first two-digit number of the document is the digital value of the OKATO region of the location of the migration service unit that issued the passport. The opposite situation may also occur when forms are left over from the previous year. For example, series 6316 indicates that the document was issued in the Saratov region in 2021 (2014 or 2015).

Series and passport number
