The Consulate General of Greece in Moscow is just a 15-minute walk from the Pushkinskaya metro station.

There are two ways to get to the embassy from Kazansky railway station:

  2. Buses No. A – from the stop. "Metro Komsomolskaya" to the stop. "Nikitsky Gate-TASS".

As mentioned above, it only takes 10 minutes to walk from the embassy to the consulate.

RUSSIANS CAN GET A “LONG” VISA

Now the Greek Consulate in Russia accepts applications and issues (within the current quotas) Greek Schengen visas to citizens of the Russian Federation, including tourists.

According to the Consulate General of Greece in Moscow, if the applicant has a three-year Schengen visa, even if it is not Greek, he can receive a Greek multiple visa valid for up to 5 years. Because, as the diplomatic mission noted, a Schengen visa is a single visa for everyone who is going on a trip to the European Union.

Regarding the processing time of applications for a Greek visa, the Consulate General provided the following comment.

“For at least the last four years, the Consulate General of Greece has tried to process visas quickly, sometimes reaching 48 hours. We are ready to follow this trend in 2021,” the diplomatic mission said.

To visit Greece, Schengen or national visas are issued. The difference between them lies in the length of stay on European territory. The first option is called short-term, since it lasts no more than 90 days. The second option involves staying in Greece for more than 90 days.

Documents for obtaining a Schengen visa are submitted not only to the Greek consulate, but also to specialized Greek visa centers, open in addition to Moscow and in other Russian cities.

Before visiting the consulate, you need to go through the pre-registration procedure using the e-visa online portal.

When applying for a national visa, you need to make an appointment by phone: +7.
