In order to provide consumers of public services with a convenient service, an online service for making an appointment with employees of the Main Directorate for Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg (Nevsky district) has been introduced. If previously you had to come to the organization to get a coupon, now it is enough to use the official Internet service.

An electronic queue allows you to choose a convenient date and time for a visit, optimizes the workload of specialists, and helps plan working hours.

The work schedule is published on the website. Registration is possible during free time, subject to availability. To register, the applicant must provide personal information and select a service. Transferring the coupon to other persons is not permitted.

A citizen has the right to make an appointment with several specialists on the same day, provided that the provision of services does not coincide in time. One ticket is valid for one visitor. Online application submission does not allow group submissions.

If the department employee is busy, the provision of the service may be shifted according to the schedule, but no more than 30 minutes. If a visitor is 10 minutes or more late, he will be able to get an appointment if there are free places further down the line.

The right to service based on a queue coupon received online is possible subject to:

• the visitor’s personal data specified during registration corresponds to the passport data;
• admission takes place based on the problems noted in the application.

Functions and responsibilities of the FMS in St. Petersburg

The functions of the Main Directorate for Migration are extensive - they extend to tracking migration flows, which is implemented in the form of countering illegal stay in the Russian Federation, registration, deregistration of citizens of the Russian Federation, foreigners, maintaining a database, monitoring the compliance of visitors with Russian relevant legislation.
